Get to Know William Ashley Jordan, III
Experienced Greenville Personal Injury Lawyer
“If you hire me and my firm, you will get a level of personal service that you are not likely to get anywhere else. On top of that, you are hiring us for our proven track record, knowledge of the law, and willingness to go all the way in the pursuit of victory for our clients.”
Many consider William to be one of the most accomplished young personal injury lawyers in South Carolina. He has extensive courtroom experience and has repeatedly tried cases to jury verdict with great success. William has delivered tens of millions of dollars worth of settlements and verdicts to his clients, helping people who have had serious and catastrophic injuries begin to put their lives back together.
“My firm represents people who have had terrible, life-changing injuries through no fault of their own. These injuries often have huge implications on their personal and financial lives. I am proudest when my firm is able to help a client chart a course through a future that involves many years of not being able to draw a paycheck or lots of expensive medical treatment.”
William works mainly on cases in South Carolina but has also handled cases in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, or in far-flung locations like New York and Colorado. He also has prevailed numerous times at the appellate level in South Carolina, and has participated in class-action and multi-district litigation across the country.
William understands that defense attorneys and the insurance companies they represent are often not willing to give injured people a fair shake and knows the tools and tricks they use to try and prevent paying injured people what is fair for what has been taken from them. This knowledge and know-how, built up over a decade in the crucible of litigated cases, helps deliver great results to his clients.
“Insurance companies are always looking for a way to deny, delay, or diminish justice to seriously injured people. The best remedy for this is a vigorous advocate who can act on your behalf and a jury sitting in the jury box, ready to deliver justice. As a strong believer in the 7th Amendment to the US Constitution, there is no higher calling for an attorney than bringing a case to trial for a deserving client.”
William is a Greenville native who has lived in the upstate most of his life. He went to JL Mann High School, just down the road from his current office. After high school, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Furman University and went to law school at the University of South Carolina. He clerked for a firm that handled personal injury cases for two years during law school. It was there that he developed both a passion for helping those in tough situations and the skills to help them.
William is licensed to practice in South Carolina in both State and Federal Courts, along with the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. William is a proud member of the South Carolina Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice and is proud to call himself a trial lawyer. For several years William has been a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, recognizing his ability to deliver seven-figure results to his clients.
William currently lives in the upstate with his wife, Meredith, who helps him manage the office. He has three children: Zoey, Camille, and James.
